Is there any truth to the rumor that the two brothers fell in love with the same woman and wouldn't even think of taking her from the other -

so, they threw her off the bridge?

Yikes! I wonder if this rumor has anything to do with a recently produced play based on a fictional account of Owen Brown's letters. What I have read is that penniless Owen fell ill after making his way down the mountain to attend a temperance event put on by a female friend.

Thank you for your comments. I re- linked. I hope it's is up and working for you (and all who visit).

Johnny Cash played John Brown in the miniseries North and South in 1985. I'd bet you didn't know that

Here's my favorite iconic image of John Brown; it shows him as a giant, either that or his peeps were dwarfs.

I believe he had a slew of offspring, over 20 if I remember correctly. Interesting that two of them settled so close to you. Nice musical accompanyment.
I really liked the image of the sandals by the way and the Good Friday connect. I a sucker for word play, puns and the like.

He kind of looks like Cindy McCain in that picture. I'm so mean.
